Fantastic Voyage - Maya - Cells material and colour test

@phil Fantastic Voyage - Script - Draft Scene 1

Draft script

Scene 1.

Camera rolls down in to a scene where the cells are queuing up to go through the portal. Camera focuses on one particularly odd cell (cancer cell) as he waits in boredom.

Computer – welcome to the cell cycle. You are currently in the G 1 phase. While you wait patiently for the portal, prepare yourself and be sure to have the correct information.

Camera cuts
Now the green cell is near the front of the queue
Camera is now focusing on the portal and cells being scanned. A healthy cell gets scanned and the lights goes green and the portal opens up.

Computer – Access granted. Please advance to the S phase.

A cell much like the last but is covered in spots approaches the scanner. Seconds later the light start flashing red and the portal opens.

Computer – Access denied. Please exit and awaits further instructions in the G 0 phase.

The green cell casually floats towards the scanner. The control pod carefully scans him. The light starts to flash red and the cell starts to freak out and meddles with the control pod and the light start suddenly turn green.

Computer – Please proceed to S phase.

Portal opens and the green cell goes through.

As Dr. Klapper said that i had to cut out scene 2 where the green cell got to the G 0 phase, this is my solution as i want to still show that it exists. In doing this I've made my T cell character redundant.

Fantastic Voyage - T cell - Design variations

I really like this robots design but since I'm not using it to represent the chemotherapy drugs, I want to use it to represent to t cells. The role for these robots is to keep the cells in check and eliminate the bad sells. They're the guard/police of this world I'm trying to create.

Fantastic Voyage - Body cell bots

I want the healthy cell and the cancer cell to look the same but the mutation is in the colour instead of shapes.

Fantastic Voyage - Chemo bots - Concept art

I changed the colour for these robots to make them look less villainess and more clean. In terms of shapes and silhouette I'm not quite sure which best represents a soldier.

Fantastic Voyage - Chemo bots - Influence and thumbnails

I thought that it might be a good idea to have my chemotherapy robots inspired by the military as their job is to target group of cells and eliminate those cells.
