As my city is going to involve a lot of air crafts, it wouldn't make much sense for it to be on flat land. so the options i came up with are these two ideas: high up in the mountains or small rocky islands.
A couple of observations: there's something 'clean' and 'brand new' and fresh and 'engineered' about Harper's stuff - it all looks meticulous and freshly-painted etc., so I'm wondering why the 'platform' looks so prehistoric and non-streamlined. Harper's lines are clean, his curves crisp, his finish immaculate... wouldn't this airport of his/yours be a shining example man-machined architecture? So, more this? https://www.6sqft.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/twa_terminal_at_jfk.jpg
Also - if you base your air terminal out in the ocean, or high in the clifftops, you'd need to think about all the transport systems taking people away and too the terminal - so more Harper-inspired tech and travel?
