These are a few Ideas i came up with from the 3 story components
1. A window cleaner working at the fairground sees a map one day and it brought back some very fond memories of his childhood.
2. A window cleaner spends the weekend with his grand daughter. they go to a local fairground and enters a treasure hunt.
3. a young girl goes to live with her granddad (window cleaner) due to the lost of her parents. Greatly upset she runs away and the window cleaner has to find her. the story ends with the girl being found in the fairground where here parents used to take her.
I think the third story you wrote is definitely the strongest. If you decide to go forward with this idea, how would you incorporate the map? Maybe she leaves it behind because she wants to be found and consoled? And how would you introduce the characters and their situation? Maybe you could show the death of her parents and her arrival at her uncles' house through black-and-white flashbacks at the beginning.
ReplyDeleteAlso, what if the fairground isn't only somewhere she and her parents visited often but is actually where they died. Murdered? Accident?
